Do I need any experience to buy from Ready Rifle?
No. Our packages are built to make sense from the moment you open the case. The optic is already installed and zeroed. The case includes everything you need. And we walk you through every step of the purchase — including what to expect at the dealer before you ever arrive.
What is an FFL and why do I need one?
A Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) is a licensed dealer who legally receives your firearm on your behalf. Federal law requires all firearm transfers to go through one. The good news: you don't have to find one. We locate the closest qualified dealer to you, call them directly, confirm they accept transfers, and handle the entire coordination so you don't have to figure any of this out.
Is this legal in my state?
We ship to all states where our products are legally permitted. If your state has specific requirements — like magazine capacity limits — we make the appropriate adjustments to your order and tell you exactly what changed and why. We are committed to full legal compliance in every state we serve.
What does the pickup process actually look like?
When your firearm arrives at your local FFL dealer, we email you with their hours and location. We also explain the Form 4473 — the standard federal form you'll fill out at pickup — what to bring (your valid ID), and the transfer fee to expect. We even offer to schedule your pickup appointment. You show up, complete the background check, and take your rifle home.
What happens after I receive my firearm?
We stay in touch. You'll receive a Day 1 email with safe storage basics and a walkthrough of what's in your case. We follow up at Day 7 to make sure your pickup experience was smooth, and again at Day 30 just to check in. We're not going anywhere.
